Sunday Racing

This Sunday the first race is the Fox 2-Up at 10am. The weather is looking sunny and gentle and if you don't have crew it's perfect for anyone who hasn't been out in a while to come along and team up.

This will be followed by the Juniors, Novices and Ladies race at 11am. Novices are anyone who has not won a cup in the past three years but this excludes the following cups: Baker Challenge, Preston and Revill (silver or bronze), Novice, juniors, ladies, £5 trophy.

What a day! Glorious sunshine, flat water, a gentle breeze and lots of boats out on the water including many first this season (and hopefully first of many).

Many congratulations to Daisy McKenna who stepped in at the last moment and won the Ladies race with consumate ease, despite 2018 quite literally falling apart around her. And to Jazz Murrant on a worthy win for the Juniors Cup (and second in the Ladies).

Many thanks to Andrew and Stuart in what must have been a sweltering race box and to Les out on the water.

Next week we are hopeful to race to Ventnor. Further details will be posted later this week.
