Sandown Regatta

Notice of Race for Sandown Regatta.

The Race will be held in Sandown Bay.

First race start time 1100hrs or as neat to that time as possible.The second race as soon as p[possible after the first.

The Start will be a line from the end of the Pier (Denoted by a flag or a post on the end of the pier) and a buoy (that will be positioned prior to race start) off the end of the pier.

Each race will constitute of 5 laps or shortened course.

The course will be told to you by the safety boat prior to the start of the race.

Please also tell the Shanklin ZapCat your type of boat and PY number that you are racing under. (Non Dart/Sprint15's)

The Start will be a normal 5 minute start all boats to start at the same time.

1st Race. Is for all boats consisting of Dart/Sprint 15 ( Una Rig) and a handicap race for the rest of the fleet Non Dart/Sprint 15. Prizes for both fleets.

2nd Race. Is for all boats any rig (as long as there is a PY number for that boat and rig) Prize for the first overall and a Prize for the first Mono Hull.

Hi Eddie thanks for the offer but apparently the grey one is knackered yet again.
I think that Yaverland are putting a boat or two on the water.
