Putting the Buoys out !

Postby ian bolton » March 12th, 2019, 12:05 pm

Dear all,
Volunteers needed to assist in the delicate operation of putting the buoys out. :!:

The intention, subject to weather conditions, is to do this on Tuesday 19th March at 9 am.
9.45am (High Water )
We need as many willing and able people to assist as possible.
Please let myself or Liam know if you can help.
Thank you

Traffic directing. That would be about my limit.

I am sure that will help get the right buoy out in the correct order. :D

As much as I love practicalities, I can't do anything during office hours of the working week. If your High Water plan gets weathered off, and the more clement launch conditions of a low water mission ensue, BOB LE TRUQ and I are more than capable of lugging heavy gear across soft sand. I assume the HW plan was a transport of chain/bouy issue.
I shall drop a couple of twin handled storage tubs off at the cliff-ward yard so your team don't wear a hole in the new rescue boat. (Don't wanna have to 'KEEL-HAUL' some scurvy dog) At a push, I could probably persuade Ellen McArthur's fella to bring his weird landing craft thing round. He comes across as a guy that likes a mission. Ring me if you need me, I am at your disposal. Sue should have my mobile number.

Thanks. The tubs will come in handy on Sunday for the buoys with pointy anchors.

Two tubs on site. With...
Serving Suggestion: Chains laid in to stop Mr. Wind nicking them.

Big thanks to all that helped.

W and A are waiting to go out if anything bad happens to the others.
