Sprint 15 Nationals

The dates for all the Sprint 15 Association events for the Winter as well as the two Nationals are on this site.

The Nationals are as follows:

19th - 21st May Sport Nationals Yaverland Sailing and Boating Club
22nd - 24th July Nationals Thorpe Bay Yacht Club

Please let your spouses and partners know so they don't book a holiday somewhere else.

The Sport Nationals has to be a priority for Shanklin sailors. There is no reason at all why we shouldn't get 30 boats entered from our club. There is nothing to fear. The standard of sailing is not particularly higher than at Shanklin - the event has been won by an SSC member for the last four years in a row. In fact is should be easier to sail because the starts lines don't favour one end.

At this year's event in Devon, the local club had 18 entrants and they have less boats than us.

Please do everything you can to attend, even if it is just for one or two days. If you did the Saturday and Sunday you would have done enough races to count.
