Boat cover - which one?

Postby Luke Targett » November 16th, 2014, 12:22 am

Hi y' all!
It appears that I need a new boat cover, grrrr.
Have found a grey one from Speedy Sports at £210, and one from Cat Parts for £278. The cheap Ebay ones look like rubbish. I'd rather not spend £278 on one so does anybody know if the cheaper Speedy Sports grey one is any good?
Does any one know of anyone else selling a decent used cover?
Thanks chaps!
Luke :)

Hi Luke
I bought a very good Goldfinch one a couple of years ago - full cover for either £140 or £170.
Have a look at my boat, think the tel. number is on the back of the cover.

Cheers

Ian Wilkinson has a full cover from them, Jagular has a tramp cover. Very shiny.

Thanks Phil, Liam! Will look into it all :)
I guess that if I'm buying a new one it would be a good idea to get a full cover.
Goldfinch looks good so may give them a call tomoz.
Any one got any ideas on how Wightlink would let me do less hours for more money (short of blackmail!)so that I can do more sailing lolol?!!!!
:?

Have had a look at Phill's cover and was quite impressed. Then I had a look at Ian Wilkinson's cover and was more impressed! Decided to throw caution to the wind and ordered same as Ian's from Rain and Sun Shop. I must stop throwing caution around - it's a bad habbit! Thanks for eveyone's help! :D
