Work to be done

Postby Dreadnought » October 22nd, 2014, 9:06 am

Here's a start. Please feel free to add to the list.

Change the glass windows in the start hut for perspex
Sweep out the boat yard. Sand to go on the beach, rubbish to go in the bin
Replace any broken chains used for tying boats down in the boat yard
We need at least two concrete tyre weights
Get buoys ready. Just the inner start line mark needs replacing and one tyre weight swapping
Right hand safety boat hut and water supply
Look for Topper parts so we can sell both boats if they are not claimed
Clear out the muck from behind the club house
Who's the more foolish; the fool or the fool who follows him?

Hi Chris
The committee decided to repair and paint the starter hut windows, as the cost of replacement upvc windows is prohibitive. I hope to start on them on Sunday.
Regards, phil

Hi Phil, hope you had a good holiday.
The starters hut :| you may find that you run out of good wood, it's getting a bit fragile round the edges.
