Have just performed open heart surgery on a rudder, the worst I think I have ever worked on, this is what was left[img]

[/img] The inner bush fell in half the washers had to be cut away and I had to cut out the plastic outer bush.

Just a suggestion if you have aluminium bushes and washers, treat yourself to nice new plastic ones, before they get too bad.

The second one was even worse, had to drill the centre bush out, it was so badly swollen with the corrosion it wouldn't even move.
