"Tales around my Trolley"

How can one possibly make a thread on this forum about a catamaran trolley, which is both informative and interesting? The answer clearly is it isn't. However (groan), I do strongly feel the need to again share my latest "Trolley Saga", with my fellow sailors.
Whilst the home- made handle has been hugely successful since its inception, it may be linked in some obscure way to the recent demise of the "Port" tyre on the trolley. I had become increasingly bored with pumping it up, both on the journey to the beach and then again on my return, hours later at the end of racing, exascebated by the added duress of being last, yet again!
I therefore, made suitable enquiries and took the tyre to Island Tyres in Lake who condemned it, saying that it would be kinder to throw it away. They even showed me the air escaping from many fractures. I suggested an inner tube might be an inspired solution, but this was rejected because it would likely be caught and pinched once inflated. There was no charge for their help, as they were unable to supply a 21 x12x 8 tube. In the knowledge that a new tyre from Windsports costs £82-88, I ebayed a new inner for £14 delivered. Result!
Back to my new friends in Lake who fitted it for free and so far so good. Admittedly, I have yet to use it in anger, but I have high hopes of success and will attribute any placing higher than last in the next race to my refurbished trolley.
