Christmas sailing

Postby Dreadnought » December 21st, 2014, 4:25 pm

I hope you are all going to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by going sailing.

Currently there's a 48 hour window in the forecast starting lunch-time Christmas Eve. I'm hoping to go to Bembridge on Boxing Day but the forecast might force us to do something different.

Watch this space.

Leaving at 10am from Shanklin on Wednesday, Christmas Eve. The plan is to go to Bembridge for lunch.

The forecast for Boxing Day has been changing all the time but it looks likely that we should be able to get out on the water.

Rumour has it that Sean Strevens might go go a sail tomorrow. Hope we know where his boat is and if it can be got out. ⛵️

Erling sorry can't make it, Christmas and all that.
One clue is it is the only other boat in the boat park with slick tyres besides mine.
I might be able to pop down first thing and have a look for it

I know you are getting old Erling but you should try to remember what you do with all these boats

Looks very hopeful for Boxing Day still although there is some weather coming in later in the day. Will keep you posted as to what is happening.
