Erling Holmberg: for being washed up on Ventnor beach behind his boat
Paul Grattage: for losing his hatch cover going round the Island
Harry Vernon: for repeatedly mounting the number 5 buoy
Chris Cook: for wearing a life-jacket apparently stolen from Wightlink
Daren Morris: for falling off his boat in the middle of the Bay
Brandon Holmberg: for capsizing six times in 100 yards

Sean, Tina and myself have set the bar quite high for cock-ups so the entries have been a bit unexciting this year. However, the judge (Sean McKenna) should take into account the long standing tradition of handing the ducks to Erling biannually.

How about me not realising the Bang and Swap crew race did not involve turning round and sailing back the other way, thereby giving away Henry's convincing lead and losing him the cup

Good start but who really wants it? Other stories invited for consideration below.
