Laying up Supper 2014

Hi Everyone,
Yes, The Laying up Supper is nearly here, where has the Summer gone !
This year the Dinner is to be held at Shanklin Conservative Club, Saturday 18th October,7.00 for 7.30pm.
A Delicious Three Course Dinner Menu, hope you all like it.

STARTERS,
Orange fruit juice.
Cream of Country Vegetable Soup.
Fan of Melon with Raspberry Coulis and Mixed Berries.

MAIN COURSE.
Extra Mature Roast Beef served with a Yorkshire Pudding.
Salmon Supreme poached in White Wine served with a Dill Sauce.
Breast of Chicken stuffed with Stilton and Apricots wrapped in Bacon served with Mushroom Brandy Sauce.
Vegetarian option--Broccoli and Asparagus Penne Pasta with Grilled Goats Chesse and Parsley Sauce.

All Main Courses are served with Seasonal Vegetables and Potatoes.

SWEETS.
Fresh Fruit Pavlova.
Vanilla Ice Cream.
Bread and Butter Pudding served with Custard.
British and Continental Cheese Board, Chutney, Biscuits and Grapes.

COFFEE AND MINTS.

Prize Giving Awards, plus a Raffle,( unwrapped Raffle prizes much appreciated, thank you.)

Tickets : Adults~ £21.00 ~~ Children under 12yrs old £11.00 ( Ice cream choice of dessert.)

I will be available to take your orders and payments at the Club Sunday mornings, 9.00am ~ 1.00pm, or remaining Thursday racing evenings.
Your names and Menu Selection for each person, plus payment by cash or cheque. Please make cheques payable to Shanklin Sailing Club.

Alternatively cheques can be posted to the Club, along with your contact details and above details.

hi Mary just a thought in the past we have had a pdf or a news letter to print off that allows the person to write there name and circle what they want to eat and enclose the money in one. I just think it would be easier than everybody coming to you in the club and you writing it down then you have a pile of cash and not knowing who's paid what :D

Yes, good point. Should have added I was going to do a form next week.
If you can all bear with me over the weekend will do soon as poss, may get done by Sunday but have a busy weekend ahead.

Supermarket now for the Cadet's Regatta Barbecue buns etc, then to Club all day ready for Barbecue tomorrow.

Money handed over to me no problem I like piles of cash ! and don't worry I will know who's paid !
