Sailing fixtures Thursday 5th - Sunday 8th
Posted: June 2nd, 2014, 7:36 pmThis coming Thursday evening is the Baker Cup. Like all other cup races at Shanklin, it is open to all craft with a PY number which includes the Challenger and Picos. The race will start at 7pm but can start as early as 6.45pm if all are ready on the water. Family members may borrow the club Picos.
After the Odds and Ends and Pursuit races on Sunday there is the Novice Cup. Again this can be sailed by all craft with a PY number. Also novice sailors can helm a Sprint 15, with or without another person as crew. The person signed on as the helmsman must steer the boat throughout if his crew is not a novice.
*Excludes H F Fleming Ladies Cup, H F Fleming Junior Cup, Crews Cup, Cadet Cup
