If you want to download the fixtures onto your calendar try adding http://www.shanklinsailingclub.com/ssc-calendar.ics

It works in Google Calendar which will automatically update your Android. May work in fruit-based devices too.

In Google calendar click on the triangle next to Other calendars and choose Add by URL.

Have worked it out.

To use with a fruit based device.

A Gmail account is needed with any OS or computer.

Follow the instructions Liam has posted using any computer, once the calendar is updated with the SSC fixture list turn to the fruit based device eg:- Iphone.

Browse to https://www.google.com/calendar/syncselect
You will be asked to log in using your Gmail account, log in.
You will be then asked to select the calendar's that you want to sync, SSC should be there, tick it then go to the Fruit based device (IPhone) calendar it should be there.

You may have to go to settings on the fruit based device and under Mail,Contacts & Calendars and add the Gmail account.

Apples are not the only fruit. Some people talk using berries.

Didn't work it out that way, my way you get it on all computers. Will have to try with Kim's NOKIA.

It appears some people have been trying to print out the iCal file on the fixtures page. This will only bring grief and anguish.

The iCal file: http://www.shanklinsailingclub.com/ssc-calendar.ics is to be used on electronic calendars like those on smart phones.

You can also import them into Outlook. On Outlook 2013 click HOME > Open Calendar > From Internet and then paste http://www.shanklinsailingclub.com/ssc-calendar.ics into the window.

Outlook does appear to get the times a bit mixed up whereas Google seems to get them as I intended.

Instructions for Android are above and there are instructions for Apple here: http://www.ehow.com/how_8608129_add-ics ... phone.html
