WINTER JOBS
What a blow it's nearly that time again.

As enthusiasm, and the older members can’t do as much as they used to, doing the jobs at the Club seem to be dwindling year after year. We may have to look into getting outside contractors in to do various jobs around the Club.

Which no doubt will result in an increase in Subscriptions and Boat Park fees.

1. Bank in small boat park cleared.
2. Bank behind the Club needs clearing. (Trees to be pollarded)
3. Tie down chains in the boat park checking.
4. Fascias on north end of the Club need replacing with Plastic. (Hole filling in)
5. Gents changing room, Ladies changing room, Clubhouse and Kitchen need a lick of paint.
6. A couple of the windows in the Clubhouse need new anti
See-through film.
7. Buoys need getting ready. (I think there is enough chain, but more would always be welcome.
8. Store needs a good tidy up.
9. Safety boats need a good clean up and engines serviced if necessary.
10. Store for the second Safety boat needs altering.
11. Drains behind the Club need clearing.
12. Main Boat Park cleaned up.
13. Small Boat Park tidied. (Old chains got rid of, it looks a mess)
14. Picos checked and repaired where needed.
15. Trimaran dismantled and checked.

There appears to be damp coming in to the toilet from the shower in the Ladies Changing Room.

Plenty of chains at the club but I will get some more in the usual way.

I am very happy to do the buoys or to assist the vice commodore.

I will get some mirror film for the windows.

Be very careful not to chuck plastic on the beach when the boat parks are cleared of sand. Somebody with good eyes need to supervise the old people.

Well done Liam, I am sure Ian or whoever will be thankful. I have a feeling that there is some film in the Club somewhere.

It's OK the old people are going to sit in the Club house with big binoculars and supervise from there.

There are 2 or 3 rolls of window film in the locker to the right of the corner bench seat.

Thanks for the offer of help everyone, work will start as soon as sailing finishes.

The first big job will be getting the buoys in. Lots of fit people needed.
