Battens

Postby Shaun Smith » July 27th, 2017, 11:14 am

I managed to break a batten on the beach last Tuesday. Windsport want silly money for delivering a single batten to the IOW. Obviously, I could order a set but don't really want to go to that expense if they are not needed. It occurred to me it might be an idea for the club to purchase a set and then sell them individually at a slight mark-up to members as we do drinks, snacks etc. That would reduce the cost to members but generate a slight profit for the club. Any thoughts?

Erling usually has a set for that purpose.
