There's a southerly gale forecast for Sunday morning so please make sure your boat is tied down and if you are not going to sail in the Winter drop your mast.

Keith popped down early Sunday around 2 am he couldn't believe how much the masts were moving especially those with slack rigging. This can cause damage to the mast ball and the hound let alone the rigging.
If you don't intend to sail during the winter it would be a good idea to drop your masts.
If you do intend to sail it might be an idea to put a rope between the shrouds and tighten it this should tighten the rig and hopefully stop a bit of movement.
