The next Sprint 15 event is one of the easiest for us to get to at Datchet, between Heathrow and Windsor.

13th February
1st race at 12.30pm

First time TT sailors get their entry free

Location and free ferry are good sweeteners. Would me and Sophia count as TT first timers and when do we need to decide by?

You can negotiate that one with Erling.

Stuart is going to want a week to sort out ferries.

Hope you can make it.

You count as a first time TT as you have never travelled to an away event.

Sophia and I have permission. Who else is going and is there a spare spot on a trailer or do I need to car top?

I will need to take a car even if the boat gets a lift there.

Have you got a tow bar?

I think we should press gang somebody.

No tow bar unfortunately. On the roof it is then.

Plans abandoned due to BBC forecast of strong northerly (potentially snow). Not really suitable for an 8 year old's first time out this year. May try and get out in the bay if the forecast changes.

Won't Sophia let you take the boat out on your own?
