Starting Diamond Needed

Postby ChrisR » November 16th, 2015, 1:23 pm

New Diamond needed.
Does anyone have enough aluminium?
Does anyone have the technology?
Can anyone manage this feat?
I found it in the car park, it is more holy than righteous.

I'm sure I can get one made by March. Can you give me the dimensions and can it be symmetrical? - or is it offset for a reason?

Hi Harry thanks for that.
I think it was like that because of the amount of aluminium that it was cut out of, also I think it is probably a lozenge shape but we have always called it a diamond.

It is in the gents changing room, I can let you know the dimensions otherwise use that one as a template.
Is there any chance of it before March as we have to get it fixed on to the post etc.

can't we repair it, maybe fill the holes with a bit of chewed bread, just thought.
One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small, and the ones that mother gives you, don't do anything at all. Go ask Alice, when she's ten feet tall.

No, Ian W is the one with the artistic bent. If you prime it up, Ian can get the spray can out.

When and if Ian becomes Rear Commodore, then I think he will have no time to be at your beck and call.

We could actually just front and back it with some painted marine ply to clamp over the fixing points.

Has anyone got an old road works sign laying around, (that doesn't mean going out and pinching one  )as long as we can get 900 X 600 mm out of it that might do for the diamond.
